My First Post

I've always wanted to start a teaching blog to share my ideas, and join the AMAZING blogging community.  However, I've always been really nervous to do it.  If you know me in real life, you know that I am not one to put myself out there, and that I'm incredibly shy.  This is a HUGE step for me to get out of my comfort zone :o)  (we all have to grow up sometime, right?!)

I love this quote!  My goal is to become so wrapped up in this blog, that I'll start overcoming my fear of putting myself out there.

I LOVE seeing what is going on in other classrooms.  I feel that since I've started reading blogs, using Pinterest, and discovering Teachers Pay Teachers, my teaching has improved greatly, and my students have really benefited.  My hopes are that through my own blog, people will be able to get ideas from me, and get a little glimpse into my classroom.  I know that whenever I visit another person's classroom, I walk away thinking "Wow, what a fabulous idea!" or "I want to try that!".

I have some goals for how I want to blog, and hopes for what I want to accomplish with my blog.  I thought that I would be more likely to follow through if I put it in writing :o)!
So excited to start this journey!!
